NYX soft matte lip cream in Copenhagen

I've added a new shade to my all-time favourite NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream (SMLC) collection in the shade Copenhagen. I'd usually go for pinkish/peachy/nudish lip colour and I seldom wear dark colour lipstick. However, after trying Copenhagen, I'm now extremely in loveeee with darker shade lip colours / or you can call it the vampy lips :O

PROS:

Perfect shade for all skin tone
Given a huge collection of lipsticks, this is my very first darker shade berry lip colour and I love it to core. It looks amazing and I feel amazing. It's suitable for everyone! Looks good on Asian too. Doesn't make the teeth appear yellowish at all.


Very wearable
Daytime/nighttime, not a problem.


Not drying at all
Doesn't dry out your lips or make your lips peel ! really.


Creamy and easy to apply
I can just apply with the doe foot applicator without a lip liner or lip brush, and still get it perfectly applied.


Super affordable
Affordable and of good quality, it is heaven to me.

CONS:
Transferability 
Might need to reapply after meals, but I'm totally fine with it.

NYX soft matte lip cream in Istanbul

It has been ages since I last updated my blog ! I've gotten soooo many new cosmetic products but I've just been too busy to write reviews about them!

If you let choose one and only one lipstick to use for the rest of my life, I would choose the NYX soft matte lip cream in Istanbul, which is what I'm gonna review today ! It has been my favourite lipstick for quite some time and I really really want to rave about how amazing it is today in this post.

Before I start, I just want to express how much I love the entire collection of the NYX soft matte lip cream, but I only happen to own two. But not to worry because Im gonna own ALL OF THEM one day (despite my busting collection of lipsticks) ! read here for the NYX soft matte lip cream in Antwerp which I absolutely love it, but I definitely love this shade in Istanbul more :)

PROS:

Matte appearance (oh-my-favourite)

Nothing beats a nice matte lipstick !

Although it's matte, it's not drying at all. 

It's hard to find a matte lipstick that doesnt dry out your lips or accentuate your lip lines. 

Long staying power

Even after meals, the lip cream stays on the entire day. For me I didn't have to touch up during the day. 

Such a heart breaker kinda pink

Suitable for all skin tones, and even on those who are tan. I have a friend who's quite tan and I recommended her this lip cream, it looks amazing on her ! Also,  it doesn't make your teeth appear yellowish especially on Asian skin tones. Wear it anytime anywhere, its so wearable !

Affordable 

Selling at RM26/SGD 12, I personally think that it's extremely worth it. You can grab them in Sephora !

Would I repurchase ?

It's been a long time since last I discovered an extremely good product that 

I do not want to use any other products anymore !

What I'll be reviewing today is

which is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING,

just trust me on that.

How it looks on the lips ? (:

Pros :

It's like the PRETTIEST PINK in the entire universe. 

As asians, I understand that it's kinda difficult to find a shade of pink that really compliments our yellowish skin tone. 

And not to mention, a lot of us are afraid to wear pink because 

many shades of pink out there (esp fuchsia pink) would 

make our teeth appear much yellow-er.

But this NYX Antwerp suits me perfectly !!!!!!

 ( doesnt make my teeth appear yellow-er at all ) 

It's like the perfect kinda pink for everyone around the world

 that would never go wrong for any occasion !

It's really matte.

Seriously, matte lipsticks are like the best thing ever????

Affordable!

Bought it from a blogshop for $10 SGD only. 

Very long lasting !

Really stays on your lips for a very longggg time even after mealsss !

Doesn't feel like you're applying anything at all on your lips.

THIS IS MY FAV THING ABOUT THIS LIP CREAM.

Smells really nice

I'd say it smells like vanilla ! 

Cons:

Will accentuate the lip lines if lips not exfoliated. 

But don't worry at all because

I've learnt a quick and easy tip from youtube on how to exfoliate your lips in less than 1 min without having to purchase any products, which is just pure genius. 

Use your tooth brush to brush onto your lips !

Which will remove all the dry skin and 

make your lips baby smooth. 

After exfoliating the lips, apply a layer of lip balm. 

And you're good to go to apply the lip cream ! 

This works for me, I swear. 

And you'll have THE perfect looking lips without looking chappy/dry. 

Would I repurchase?

ABSOLUTELY.

I seriously feel like buying alllllllll the shades that they have.

NYX GLOSS

You know once in a while you buy something.

At first you didn't like it at all.

But after awhile when you use it again, you fell in love with it just like that! *Snap fingers*
Yes, this happened to me to this NYX's Gloss , in 30 sorbet.


 Oh, I got it at my school's atrium sale at around SGD5-6.
I remember quite cheap , because that's the reason I bought it.
If I'm not mistaken you can buy NYX products from Far East.

Here's what I think about this NYX gloss.

Pros

A very pretty shade of pink

Shimmer, not glittery 

Long staying power (even after meal )

Very afforable

Cons

Has a very strong lemon(?) smell which I don't really adore

Shows your drying lips line if large amount applied

The reason why I did not like it at first is because 

I applied quite alot on my lips.

Hence it showed my drying lips line and also a very strong smell.

 

However after a few tries I realized the lesser gloss I applied, the nicer it looked on me.

It gives a very nice and natural pink ! 

Trust me, it's really nice.

Would I repurchase?

Probably not because of the lemony smell :/ But if you're a lemon person, you should get one.
