Etude House Proof 10 Mascara Review.

The Etude house has really made me change my perspective towards them again !
They have totally won my heart once more.

I actually adore quite a few stuff from Etude,
and the Etude House Proof 10 Mascara is going to be one of them too now (:

I got this as a birthday present which I think 3 years ago and I haven't used it until recently.
I'm real good at keeping stuff, trust me.

I am not quite sure if it's still available in the market,
but I think they still do?
Anyway, the price selling online is around $13.90 SGD.

Etude House Proof 10 Mascara: Super washable.

Some korean words that I don't understand.

The curled Mascara wand.

Ready? Let's do it (:

Bare eyes without mascara.
One coat of Etude House Proof 10 Mascara !

Pros:

Simple but pretty packaging.
Not cheap looking don't worry (:

Curled mascara wand.
This is my first curled wand and I love it!
It makes application easier and less messy.

Volume NO ; Length YES.
Although it says it provides volume,
but I think it gives more of the length.
Very very pretty and noticeable, clump-free long lashes !

Long last hours.
I wore this recently on a trip to Bintan (being outdoor and to the beaches),
the curl stayed in place entirely
and it DID NOT smudge at all !

Affordable.
Yes I believe so.

Cons:

Watery consistency.
Takes a bit longer than my usual mascara to dry up.
But I can totally live with that.

Slightly hard to remove.
As it stated that it's waterproof,
it makes sense that it's a lil hard to totally remove the mascara.
However, a few cotton pads filled with eye-makeup remover should work (:

Would I repurchase?

Yes !

* PS:

As I feel that it doesn't provide me with sufficient volume,
I've decided to coat my lashes with a layer of my favourite mascara
and then lengthens it with Etude House's Proof 10 Mascara !
AND I LOVE THE EFFECT !

Full n' Soft as the base and top it with Etude House Proof 10 Mascara.

Good luck xoxox <3

Etude House Color Me Nude & Gradient Lips tutorial

Hi there !
I'm still as eager as always to post my review everytime !

So recently there's this very In-thing among the koreans
called the " Gradient Lips " or they call it " Bitten lips " too.
which looks somehow like the pictures below ( Not mine )

O M G Isn't it gorgeous?!?
I fell in love almost immediately.
And so I went youtube and watched some videos .
Some people make it so complicated with sooooo many layers to apply.
Oh come on !
 I'm telling you now,
All you need is 3 simple steps.

But before we start,
there's one thing that is very important to make the gradient lips a success
which is a Lip Concealer !
So what I'll be reviewing today will be the Color Me Nude from Etude House.

Etude House Color Me Nude

Swatch

What is a lip concealer ? Why do I need it?

Basically a lip concealer is like a cream to cover up your natural lip colour
in order to really bring out the colour of your lipstick.
Or some girls like nude lips
so they can just wear this and coat it with a gloss and they're ready to go.
( I once wore just the lip concealer out and my friend thought I was sick because I looked so pale lol )

The funny thing is that I actually bought this product like 4 years ago
and I used to really hate it ( due to wrong application and I really didn't now when to use it)
And only now I'm starting to fall in love with it.
Anyway I got it for about less than RM20 if I'm not mistaken ???

Alright let's get started first.

The bare lips ( with lip balm applied )

Very lightly dap the lip concealer onto your lips . Then , blend it with your fingers ( this is super important )

Done. You can see that the coverage is pretty good.

Okay now proceeding to the tutorial of the Gradient lips.
I'm gonne be using the Tony Molly Water Jelly Lip Tint in Pomegranate.
( This was like the first product I did a review on on my blog.
If you wanna read it, scroll down to the bottom on the side bar on your left ! )

And using this ....

Dap only on the inner part of your upper and lower lips.

Then blend it with your fingers.

Alright you're almost done ! Now add a coat of clear gloss and you're done !

Remember to use a clear gloss.
DONE ! As simple as that .

(:
I am madly in love with this gradient lips thingy, it's like a freaking genius.

Pros :

Color Me Nude has a very creamy consistency ,
making it easy to apply.

No frangance.

Good coverage.

One tiny lip concealer can last you a veeeeeery time long
because you don't need to apply alot of them each time.
So I guess it's a good investment.

Cons :

Might be drying to the lips.

Will sink into the lip lines
and it can look so so so ugly.
That's why it's so important to just dap a small amout on your lips
and blend it with fingers instead of swipping it on like a normal lipstick.
Oh, lip balm prior to it is a must too !

Would I repurchase?

It's a good product , but I guess I won't because I'd want to try something new (:

Hope you've learnt something new today. Good luck (:

Etude House Color My Brows

I think everyday I get more and more addicted to cosmetics.
Everytime I see sales I buy them like a vampire sucking blood.
Never enough.

Last week while I was window shopping at Gurney Plaza Penang,
luck was on my side and I freaking saw Etude House was on 1-for-1 sale !
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD

And of course the first thing I grabbed was the Etude Drawing Eyebrow Pencil la
as you know I am madly in love with.
Then I saw this Color My Brows thingy next to it.
I feel that I need to get this if not I will be sorry.
And so I took.
I got it in 2 shades ;
Shade 1 ( dark brown ) , Shade 2  ( Light brown )

Usual price RM29.90 each.

However today I'm gonna review on 1 shade only which is Shade 1 ( the dark brown )
It has a mascara-alike packaging.
It's wand. Totally like a mascara's.
How it looks on the skin. It's like a  brown mascara .

Apparently this thingy is called a Brow Mascara.
So basically what a brow mascara does is that it colors your brow,
making it more brownish,
and also makes your eyebrow powder/ pencil last longer throughout the day.

 Let's get started.

As usual, start with a naked brow .
Yes, naked.
What I'll be using is my all time fav " Drawing eyebrow #02 from Etude " , and also our experiment product " Color my brows #1"
So this photo shows I've done one side of my brow with the  " Etude Drawing Eyebrow ". Please click from the side bar to see my eyebrow tutorial if you haven't.
Close up. Basically the Drawing Eyebrow in #02 is kinda on the greyish side. Yet I have dyed brown hair,  so it doesn't really matches.
Make sure the wand has minimal gel on it by scrapping the gel at the side of the tube.
So just brush it in one direction .
Left :  With Color My Brows.                                             Right : Without.
Huge difference eh ?

Viola .

Basically I feel that with this Color my Brows,
it gives me a more softer brow
and pulls out a more natural look for me.
And it does stays on for the entire day for sure.

One thing you really have to take note of is not to apply/brush too much of the gel on the brows
because it will sort of make your brows clump together and it does look hideous.
So always remember, just a little gel is enough.

 Would I repurchase ?
Absolutely.

 Good luck (:
